Materials 1.0

Materials 1.0 is a collection of datasheet related to materials with an engineering use that provides many dates about chimical, physical, mechanical and technological characteristics compared with the heat treatment state. Furthermore the typical applications, the hardenability and the weldability are defined.

Description:

Materials 1.0 represents a support to the metallurgical design of a component, to the inspection during the quality control and to the manufacture of the same. The classification of the materials is performed favouring the alphanumerical designation except for the materials where the trade name is dominant. For completeness and comfort use even some materials belonging to standards by now retired and replaced (for example 18NiCrMo5 case-hardening steel UNI 7846/8550) are considered.

Conditions:

the subdivision of the materials is performed according to the level class 1, 2, 3, 4 and the alphanumerical designation (or trade name)

Usefulness:

  1. metallurgical design
  2. quality control
  3. manufacturing

Use:

  1. choose the material from the drop-down menus
